The MySQL database software on the “web14” server started becoming intermittently unstable at 4:29 PM (Pacific time). Web sites that use a database (such as WordPress sites) may have experienced problems until the problem was fixed at 5:03 PM.

On March 4, the “web11” server spontaneously rebooted at around 11:50 AM and again at around 1:45 PM, causing brief outages each time.

Between 5:29 and 5:42 PM Pacific time, one of our upstream network providers had connectivity problems, causing many people to be unable to reach any of our servers.
We have resolved this by removing that provider from our network while we investigate the issue with them, and all services are now working normally.
Between 5:18 and 5:23 PM Pacific time today (Wednesday August 13, 2014), the
“web06” server experienced very high “load” due to a runaway MySQL database process. Other servers were not affected.
This caused an outage lasting approximately 5 minutes for all sites hosted on web06.

7:11 AM Pacific time: Our technicians are investigating a possible outage on the “web14” server.
Final update: We found the source of the problem — there were a couple of short load spikes over a period of 10 minutes. We have taken steps so that it doesn’t happen again.
We know that uptime is critical for our customers, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused by this event.
2:49 AM Pacific time: We’re receiving scattered reports of intermittent problems when connecting to our servers from Europe, although all services on our end are working normally.
3:30 AM Pacific time: This issue appears to be a problem within the network of one of our upstream providers. We have temporarily disabled routing network traffic through that provider, and the trouble is resolved.
Between 7:55 PM and 8:06 PM Pacific time July 25, 2013, one of our upstream providers experienced high packet loss that caused an interruption in service for some customers.
The problem was resolved at 8:06 PM and all services are now operating normally. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
1:31 PM Pacific time: Our technicians are investigating high load and slow page load times on the “web04” server.
2:09 PM Pacific time: This is being caused by a distributed denial of service attack on WordPress sites that is causing outages for many companies. We’re working to block it.

Between 12:50 and 1:23 PM Pacific time, service was intermittently unavailable or slow for sites and e-mail on the web12 server. In addition, customers on other servers may have seen brief delays or high load for about two minutes during this period.
