Brief scheduled maintenance on amy server (completed)

At approximately 10:00 PM Pacific time tonight, January 16, the “amy” Web server will be restarted.

As a result, for customers on the “amy” server (only), Web site service and the ability to read incoming e-mail will be unavailable for approximately five minutes. Customers on other servers will not be affected.

No e-mail will be lost, of course; incoming mail will just be slightly delayed.

We apologize for the inconvenience this causes. This maintenance is necessary to replace a possibly faulty hard disk in the RAID array (we’re being cautious and taking action before it becomes a problem).

Update: the server was restarted and there were no problems. Customers only saw an impact for less than five minutes, as expected.

  1. I’ve been trying all day today, Sunday, January 17, 2010 to publish my website and everytime I publish the old pages come through. Nothing new is publishing.

  2. Lea,

This is unrelated to the scheduled maintenance last night. Your browser has probably cached the old files, and you just need to clear the cache to see the changes you published (we see those changes when we view your site).

We’re contacting you separately about this to make sure it’s resolved.
