We’ve updated MySQL from version 5.1.66 to version 5.1.72. This upgrade was necessary for security reasons.
We’ve also updated the PHP 5.4 series from 5.4.20 to 5.4.21, and the PHP 5.5 series from 5.5.4 to 5.5.5, to fix several bugs.
These updates should be invisible to customers, but as always, don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
At approximately 11:00 PM Saturday September 28, 2013, the “web06” server will be restarted. This will cause a short interruption of service for Web sites on that server lasting about 8 minutes.
Other servers will not be affected. Mail for customers on this server will be queued and delivered after a short delay.
At approximately 11:00 PM Saturday August 23, 2013, the “web06” server will be restarted. This will cause a short interruption of service for Web sites that server lasting about 8 minutes.
Other servers will not be affected. Mail for customers on this server will be queued and delivered after a short delay.
Between 11:00 PM and 11:59 PM Pacific time Saturday June 22, 2013, the “web07” and “web12” servers will be restarted. This will cause a five minute interruption of service on each of these two servers at some point during this hour.
Other servers will not be affected. Mail for customers on these servers will be queued and delivered after a short delay.
Between 10:00 PM Pacific time on Saturday, June 8 and 5:00 AM on June 9, each of our hosting servers will be restarted. This will cause a brief interruption of service (less than 10 minutes) for each site at some point during this 7 hour period.
Between 10:00 PM and 10:59 PM Pacific time Wednesday May 22, 2013, the “web05” and “web07” servers will be restarted. This will cause an eight minute interruption of service for each server at some point during this hour.
Between 11:00 PM and 11:59 PM Pacific time February 26, 2013, each of our servers will be restarted for a “kernel upgrade”. This will cause an approximately four minute interruption of service for each customer at some point during this hour.
Update: The maintenance described below was completed with less than 5 minutes downtime.
At 11:00 PM Pacific time January 18 2013, the “web04” server will be restarted.
Between 11:00 PM and 11:59 PM Pacific time on Saturday December 22 2012, the MySQL database software on each of our servers will be upgraded to version 5.1.66 and restarted. This will cause an approximately 30 second interruption of service on each customer Web site at some point during this hour.

Between 11:00 PM and 11:59 PM Pacific time on Saturday June 23 2012, the MySQL database software on each of our servers will be upgraded to version 5.1.63 and restarted. This will cause an approximately 30 second interruption of service on each customer Web site at some point during this hour.
